Abandoned Zmaj factory

"ZMAJ was founded in 1927 as a factory of aero and hydroplanes. After the Second World War, in 1946, it became a plant of agricultural machinery. The experience in high technology, acquired through the production of aircraft, enabled the dynamic development of agricultural machinery programs." writes on their website.

Since 2005, the factory has been abandoned by the decay of privatisation.

In the administrative building that is entering the highway, refugees from the Middle East on their refugee route through Serbia were placed in 2015.

These days the remains of the complex are attracting urbex researchers as well as homeless people.
